All weekend long Doug and I dedicated ourselves in getting the nursery prepared for
Lily's arrival. Since Grant moved into a big boy bed the
nursery has been used as a storage room for the past 2 years. There was a lot of work to be done---dusting,
organizing, shampooing carpets and setting up the crib. This room is very, very special to me!! When Doug and I found out that we were expecting Grant back in October 2001, he
immediately went to work creating the perfect
Noah's Arc theme room. My husband sat down and
sketched each animal on paper and then free handed drew and painted each animal walking into the arc. To this day
every time I walk into the nursery it takes my breath away--
Doug's love for his children and talent is proudly displayed in this room.
