Anxiously Waiting!!!

I just know that this is going to be one lonnng weekend. The latest rumor on the adoption front is that referrals will be coming out at the begining of June. That means in about the next 3 to 5 days I will see my little girls face for the first time. I am so very excited yet very calm as well. The reason for my excitement is obvious however the reason for my calmness is the fact that I know I am next in line for my referral and I don't need to worry about cut off dates. That fact alone is a big relief.
Today is only June 1 and already my summer is shaping out to be pretty eventful. This past Weds. I had a party for my boss from work. She is getting married at the end of June in Jamica and with the help of friends we gave her a backyard beerfest type of shower. It turned out perfect, the food was tasty, the alcohol was flowing and the conversation was good and everyone had a good time.
This week on June 7, Doug and I are taking Grant to Disney World. This will be our last vacation as a family of 3 and I really want it to be special for him. We plan on going to Magic Kindom, Wild Kingdom and MGM to see the Power Rangers and the Star Wars exhibit. We are all looking forward to getting away for a few days.
I will post my new baby's picture as soon as I get it.
I do want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART to all my dear friends and family who have stood by me during this long wait with open hearts, open arms and open ears. The past 18 months have really been emotionaly hard for me and I could have not gotten thru all the disappointmnets and ups and downs without the help of them. May God Bless you and your families. I can only pray that I am there for you the way you were there for me.
Love, Renee

Could not wait to get back from vacation today and check to see any updates! I dreamed you got your referral and she was 10 months old with big round eyes and beautiful! Praying it makes it here before you leave. Can you believe it, all that waiting and wondering is about to end! Many Blessings to you!
