Apple Picking Time

Every fall my mother, Mary takes all of her grandchildren apple picking. Last year there was 3 grandchildren and now there are 4 of them. My mother, brother and I take a day off work and venture over to Graffton, Illinois with our children to have lunch at the Finn Inn and then head over to Eckerts Farm for some apple picking. The kids love it and Brian and I enjoy spending time with our mother. We hope to continue the fall tradition for many years to come.
As you can see, apple picking was to much work for Lily, she slept thru the whole thing. However, Grant and his cousins Clayton and Emily had a wonderful time.

Hey There - These pictures remind me of when we did this as kids. It was a yearly thing to go over to Grafton and pick apples. It brings back alot of memories, eating apples while you pick was the best. It looks as though Lily got worn out. Take care and keep the pictures coming. Next you have to take them to the pumpkin patch.
